ChecKmeds NC

Kerr Drug has been active in the ChecKmeds NC program since its beginning in October 2007. The ChecKmeds NC program was established by the NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund Commission with the primary goal of making sure medications work well for you. It is a FREE service to any North Carolina resident who is 65 years or older and takes part in a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan.

Kerr Drug's pharmacists will meet with you or your caregiver to review all medications, including prescriptions, over-the-counter products and herbal supplements. They will identify any potential problems including drug interactions, duplication of drugs from the same family, doses, and routes of administration and they will contact your physician if a change is recommended.
